Open Role Call

As everyone knows a while ago myself and Volac welcomed a set of twins, Revsyn and Xirsyn(Yes I picked out the names and yes they are badass) Well with them being grown we have finally given the pages over to new writers. This being said only Xirsyn has a writer at the moment and our son Revsyn does not. I have given partial control over to my daughter as to what she is looking for in her twin based on how she plans for her character to be and how she would like her relationship with her twin to be. This being said myself and Volac will have final say as to who the takes over the page but here is what she is looking for as far as her twin:
Rev and Xir are twins with Rev being the older of the two.
Their parents are a Nordic seeress and a Greek god of the underworld and the twins are the grandkids of hades.
He is extremely protective of his twin and honestly hates anyone who comes near her.br> They are so close people often assume they are dating or at least sleeping together and they don't do anything to correct anyone cause its fun to mess with peoples heads for them.(Are they? I am not one to spoil their fun so figure it out yourself)
The twins are also dark and twisted and take no shit from anyone with Rev being slightly more unhinged.
I do require full para to multi cause thats what I write now since not many do novella anymore.
As far as what his species is that is still undecided.
His playby is also still being worked on but we are open to suggestions.
Revsyn is a blank slate with some bare bones that need to be fleshed out into a full character.
Anyone wanting to write this page please contact myself or my husband Volac or even my daughter Xirsyn. -Writer behind Diawen Rajani

History of the Void.

Abandoning a child sets the tone for the childs life, they can either become cold and closed off or cling to those around them later on in life. For Diawen it was a mix of the two and it made her a walking confliction. From the age of ten when her parents up and left her to the present day Dia had come to realize that people were not black and white and while you couldn't judge the many by the sins of the few it was always good to be cautious which led her to not forming to many attachments in this life.

Diawens birth is shrouded in mystery, she was found on the steps of a library on Christmas eve by a passing couple who took her to the hospital. Once she was cleared and her age guessed at barely a week old she was released into the foster system but she didn't stay there long, the couple who found her would soon become her parents; looking after her and raising her as if she was their own. Her life until the age of ten was simple and filled with love and happiness, she wanted for nothing and even had a older brother who doted on her and protected her from the dangers of the world around them. Her adoptive parents noticed that her intelligence was alot higher than a normal child but they didn't think anything of it, they loved her and by the age of five they had explained the circumstances of how she came to be with them and why she looked different. Dia accepted what they said and moved on with her life pretty easily, laughing and playing like any child should. Her early years were slightly harder on her as she craved knowledge about not only the world around her but the others that existed.

Her parent's never thought she was anything other than human, the world had long ago accepted the existence of other beings but they specifically were of the belief that anything other than human was an abomination that they couldn't abide. Her parents never pushed her into their line of thinking but she picked up on it but could not shun the "others" like her parents. At school where both humans and Others comingled she was told not to interact with them but Dia could not stop herself which even at the age of five caused some tension in the home. Figuring she would grow into their line of thinking as she grew older they simply ignored her associations like they did not exist and everything was perfect, every year she grew older and continued to flourish...until she reached her tenth birthday...

The day Dia turned ten was the day her prefect world shattered and changed forever...

What started as a normal day soon became anything but, at the stroke of midnight Dia felt a burning sensation on her hip which while it did not last long it frightened her. As any child would she ran to her parents who comforted her until they saw what had caused the pain. On her right hip right above her hip bone was the marking of Ouroboros, at first her parents thought it was just an illusion but as the day continued on and the mark remained they realized they had taken an "Other" into their home and they were horrified. Dia was confused by her parents and older brothers reaction to something she had no control over and tried to hide in her room but they were not going to let her remain, under the guise of a happy family outing they took her to the beach where they promptly left her behind. Being ten years old Dia had no idea how to get home and when the authorities finally tracked down her parents they were not home, no calls were answered and eventually after a few days the house she had grown up in; the only home she had known was abandoned and her family gone like the wind.

Eventually the authorities were able to track down her parents but they immediately gave up custody of her stating "We will not harbor an abomination. She is not our child." Hearing those words should have broken they young girl but deep down while she loved them she simply accepted the fact that she had always been different and thought differently. Unsure of what to do with an abandoned girl they sent her to a family of wolf shifters who while wonderful to her weren't a good fit, often Dia would watch as they ran together and had that deep connection which she would never have and she mourned her birth parents. She had never given her birth family any thought but now that she was alone in the world she began to wonder why they left her on those steps. It wasn't until one day when the BlackPaw pack leader brought in a seeress for another problem he was having that Dia perked up, Brethia saw Dia for what she was and took the young girl in.

While she remained living with the pack Brethia came more often and looked after the girl, it became apparent when she reached puberty that she was a Oracle or Seeress but her line was so muddled. Finding out more about herself became Dia's main goal in life and when she was eighteen she finally accepted the truth..Dia was a Void Oracle. Her race was a rarity even in the supernatural world because she was not connected to any one divine but had the ability to reach them all, it was a double edged sword though as any one of them could use her as a conduit even without her consent. Dia trained hard with Brethia to hone her skills and learn to protect herself, she stayed with the pack but a while longer but eventually moved closer to Brethia but she never forgot the ones who were there for her at her lowest.

Just another night.

"Its not often another with the gift comes to see me.."the aged voice croaked as the young woman shut the door behind her as she entered the shop. Removing her cloak burnished copper skin covered in tattoos was revealed, her crimson locks flowing down her back to brush the swell of her hips as she moved through the cluttered shop to the back. Parting the hanging scarves a smile crossed her luscious lips which parted as she spoke "When you have no patron to guide you, seeing your own way becomes muddled" she answered sweetly leaning down to touch foreheads with the older woman, closing her eyes a moment letting their energies mingle and greet each other before she pulled away to sit down. "You are worried about never finding your patron" the woman stated matter of factually as the young woman poured the tea for them both nodding "I am twenty two winters old and have never felt a pull nor call, perhaps I am meant to live as a void forever" she answered with a small sigh as she took a drink of her tea. "Wuyi Narcissus Oolong Tea, a fine choice this time Brethia" she complimented before setting her cup down looking at the woman who smiled indulgently "I knew you would need its comfort. But child you cannot rush such a thing, some are lucky to have a straightforward calling from birth but the rare ones such as yourself who have the possibility of any of the gods? You must take your time because once you accept a marking you are never free of them even in death." Dia knew the woman spoke true but she had been feeling restless and her powers were growing each day, they were becoming harder to control without a gods influence.

Dia and the woman sat together for a few hours after their tea was gone, Brethia had become like a mother to Dia ever since her adoptive parents abandoned her at the age of ten when she started showing signs of being different. Everyone in the world knew about those who were different, those who were only half human or even less but it did not mean everyone accepted it and her adoptive parents were some of those. When brethia had found Dia wandering the streets she had taken the young girl in and raised her like her own and taught her about who she was, her powers and what she could become one day. Even now as a grown woman Dia still came to her when she needed guidance or she was simply feeling dismayed as she was now. After leaving the shop Dia wandered the streets, her mind drifting to the point where she lost track of where she was; it wasn't until she caught the sense of death that she snapped out of her thoughts. Her eyes flashed in the streetlight as she watched as four shapes zipped around her, they would be invisible to the human eye but her sight was slightly better due to her own influence and the magic Brethia breathed into her shop. A sneer crossed her lips "draugr..."she hissed as her fingers caressed one of the tattoos along her stomach causing a blade to form from her flesh.

Dia had no beef with any of the supernatural that lived around her but some of them had no care for others and simply existed with animalistic desires. Her eyes flicked around her as they surrounded her, snarling drooling disgusting beasts she knew she had to dispatch them quickly or they would wear her down and kill her. Whispering a prayer to the unanswering gods she moved with lightening speed, striking the first draugr across the throat before slamming her hand against its chest and sending a shot of straight power through its undead heart jumping back as it shuddered and exploded. Her hand tingled from the remnants of her power but she didn't stop, this time she channeled her magic down her blade and slammed it up into the creature's chest cavity; she letting out a cry of pain as the claws of one of the remaining beasts swiped across her back tearing the flesh. Directing some of her power to the wound she burned out the infection that had already started to set in as she flipped the first to last of the creatures slamming her blade into its chest before turning on the one who had attacked her.

The last of her beasts stood close to seven feet which was massive compared to her but she wasn't worried, clenching her fists she began speaking in the language of her homeland and runes appeared all over her flesh. Lightening lit up the sky and a single bolt struck her body and she instantly redirected it to the beast causing it to seize up paralyzed momentarily. Using the moment to her advantage she leapt at the beast slamming her fingers into its chest as she wrapped her legs around its waist as she gripped its heart and pushed lightening into the organ as she growled, her lips moving as she chanted. It wasn't long until the organ busted and the creature crumpled with her on top of it, panting hard she looked down with a tired smile "Og forbli død" she said before pulling herself up and blowing gently letting flames leave her lips and turn the bodies to ash. Sealing off the flames she closed her eyes and took a deep breathe before turning away from the ashes and walking herself home, she sent a raven to Brethia letting her know about the draugrs close to her home before stripping down and throwing her now ruined clothes into the fire before settling herself in a steaming bath for the night.
