However, the power that fuels magick is not just prevalent; it's not just ancient, it's as old as the beginnings of our cosmos, a testament to the depth and longevity of this practice. When we delve into the concept of energy in Wicca, we're not just exploring a mere idea but a profound concept that has been revered and respected under various names throughout the rich tapestry of human history. In Wicca, there are different types of energy, such as lunar, solar, and elemental, each with unique properties and uses. Prana, God, aether, Shakti, spirit, and the list goes on and on. But the terms point toward the same thing, and that thing is energy. This mysterious, formless substance gave rise to the universe and everything it inhabited. It's not just a hidden force; it's always there, working behind the scenes to influence our lives, often in ways we don't even realize, reminding us of its constant presence. At its most basic, magick is the intentional harnessing and manipulating of this spiritual energy. By performing particular actions, they say specific words and accomplish their will. 02/16/2023  Garden of The God's & Goddess's (Featured Realm) This Realm was created a few years ago. It is where we can all come to worship the many Goddesses (and Gods, Too) we have here in The House of Solomon. Any Goddess or god of any Mythology is welcome, too. Some are pre-made here, so if you want a role, please ask our Queen there. Or, if you wish to bring a particular Goddess to HOS, please ask again, and we can help.  A goddess is a complex and multifaceted entity, not just a female deity. In many cultures, goddesses are often associated with literal or metaphorical pregnancy or feminine roles that reflect societal expectations. They embody themes of spinning, weaving, beauty, love, sexuality, motherhood, domesticity, creativity, and fertility, as seen in the ancient mother goddess cult. But their influence extends far beyond these roles. Many major goddesses are also associated with magic, war, strategy, hunting, farming, wisdom, fate, earth, sky, power, laws, justice, and more. Some, like those associated with discord or disease, are considered harmful within their cultural contexts. The diversity and complexity of goddesses are as vast as that of male, shapeshifting, or neuter gods, inviting us to delve deeper into their stories and significance.  In certain faiths, the worship of a sacred female figure is not just a practice, but a central and revered aspect of religious devotion. Take Shaktism, for example, one of the three major sects of Hinduism, which is dedicated to the worship of the female force that animates the world.
