The resurrection of Medusa. (This is my version of how she came back.)

After the event of Perseus and the Kraken. Her head was thrown into the waters but was taken by one of Athena's followers. They knew her story of how she was raped by the heathen Poseidon and how Athena allowed this to happen in her temple when Medusa begged her for help. But Athena was also jealous of Medusa's beauty and turned a blind eye. But now Athena saw how her ignorance costed her one of the most loyal followers she had. Medusa was looked at with great admiration and love. She would asked that they follow the ways of the Goddess Athena and they came to the temple of Athena. But was Medusa was punished for Poseidon's actions this caused followers to leave Athena. What one of the few followers brought the head of Medusa to Athena, she gave Medusa the honor to be with her. Her head was set in Athena's breast plate and there she stayed.

A wealth man learn of the tale of Medusa and through the black market he sent word he would pay a large amount for the breast plate of Athena. It took months but he had obtained the breast plate that said to hold the head of Medusa. The man lived on a private island with his family. As the only way to reach the island was by boat or helicopter. Sitting in his study with his mistress, a woman that was in her twenties and a body that showed it. He was looking at the breast plate and the image of Medusa on it. He looks at his mistress as the gold necklace hung down and hugged her cleavage as he felt his excitement for his new prize and for his young mistress. Taking the young woman and was indulging himself with her but he had knocked over the breast plate on the floor. It had cracked and a black liquid came out and the only living snake slowly fell. Weakly lofting its head and as the woman was bent over the desk the snake struck. She moans out but the man thought it was for other reasons. More snakes now came out and was breaking apart the breast plate. Before the man could even do anything the snakes stuck him as well. The slithering mass crawled up the body of the woman and began to bite at her neck ripping flesh off. Soon the head fell to on to the floor and the decayed head of Medusa was placed on the body. The hands came up and were grabbing at the softened face as she started to scream. The man looked on as he watch as his trophy mistress's body began to transform before his eyes. Horror showed on his face as snake scales appeared on the body and how her legs merged and started to stretch into a long snake tail. Medusa was alive again, turning to the man and smiled as for a moment the man felt like his was safe but all that turned when her eyes glowed and he screamed then silence. Looking around the room and found a bow and some arrows as she went on her hunt to claim this island as her new home.

The island was remain silent since she had arrived. People wondered why they never seen anyone of the family again and some have even gone there but never returned. But now people have seen a strange boatman on the lake and it was said that if you have a coin of pure gold he will take you across the lake to the island. The boatman was Charon, he was the ferryman that shepard souls over the River Styx and those that wish to go to the island. He was the only one that could look and talk with Medusa. What ever their relationship was it was between them. He was the one that told the history to Medusa of what has been happening in the world and helped her keep up with the time.™
