“Okay then I will write down what I want and give it to him so he don’t have to work to hard on remembering” he gets up and goes back up to his room he picked and gets out a pen and note book. He goes back down to the sofa and flips the a clean pain and makes a list of all the food he wanted and what drink he picked as well.”he looks over to Jun”are you feeling okay?” He leans back getting a bit worried maybe we should take you to get looked at the hospital
"If Sin didn't drown in the shower after the cold water shock, just tell him to go and tell him what you want." Jun smiled at him and then closed his eyes a bit. He wasn't sleeping but everything was spinning. Since yesterday evening this was the first moment that was calm.
Kao listens to him as he moves to sit in the sofa as he cleans.”well I mean it wouldn’t hurt for me help around here sometimes to” he gives a smile then thinks about what he wanted to eat”well some soup dumplings with noodle sounds pretty good right about now. Oh also maybe some Ice cream for dessert” he loved sweets the most. Only thing was sugar made him bounce off the walls but he wouldn’t tell them that.
Before going downstairs, he checks on Sin again. Since he was busy in the shower and Jun knew that he wouldn't be careful, he turned on the cold water in the shower to cool him down. Then he got himself a sweater and went downstairs to wipe away the bloodstains. "No, that's okay, I'm almost done. Besides, it wouldn't be your job to clean up here. But your room and your bathroom when everything is set up." Julien then put everything away and slowly sat down on the sofa. "Think about what you want to eat."
Kao nods his head as he faces him”I will he store to work on getting that list” he gets bags and pulls out the few clothes he had that a few had some holes in most the shirts and pants. He hands them up in the closet then sits his school back down by the closet door. “All done.” He moves to jun “can I help you clean anything up?” He wanted to be useful to them and just just someone sitting around
He quickly closed the door behind Sin. "I don't want to know where the baseball bat landed." Then he followed Kao and looked at the room he had chosen. "Make a list of what you want and need." Julien shuddered again at the thought and then tried to clear his head. "If you want, set yourself up with the things you have here. I'll clean downstairs and then I'll need a sofa."
Kao laughs some as he was told to take a shower then goes up to the rooms with jun”well I think I want that one” he points to one of the room and walks into it.”this one has a really nice view and I like the door to the balcony.” He looks around more making sure it was what he wanted then back to Jun”can I paint the walls?” He love to paint but never got the stuff to do it with.
He looked at Sin and moved more to Kao. "I think you're going to take a shower first. Maybe like 20 times before you come into our bed tonight." Trembling, he stood up and pulled Kao with him. "Or even better. Take the money and sleep in the brothel tonight. I don't want to know what liquids are on you." Together with Kao he went to the second floor and left Sin alone down there. "What kind of room would you like from here. I'm sure you've already chosen one."
Kao looks up at Sin seeing him covered in blood it kind of gave him a bit of satisfaction knowing it was from his foster father. He then lays his head in Jun shoulder “it’s what I went after when you went after my foster father. It mostly money from my fights.” He then thinks about it and nods again”it would be nice to have a family that don’t hurt me or make me get hurt. You two are way different then all the family’s I have been passed around in and it a good thing. I feel more safe with you two and I only known you since last night”
He couldn't really imagine what Kao had been through and it hurt him more than the broken bones he had now. Julien leaned on Kao and put his arm around him. "You won't fight anymore, we'll do that for you now. It will take a while before we've grown together and maybe become a family. But it would be nice if we could do it after what we've been through."
Kao looks back at him as he moved over to him and sits down beside him”most of it is money that my foster father won in my dog fights I did. The other is just some he took out of the bank so foster mom couldn’t get her hands in it.” Shrugs his shoulder like it was no big deal and grabs his school back to made sure he had all his books and things for his school.”some fights was easy and others I almost lost my life in. See the ones I did was to the death. If I lost they would shoot me but if the other dog lost they shot it. It was terrible to see but the ones I almost lost to was again other shifters like me”
While Kao examined the house, Julien opened the bags. He opened his eyes in shock. "Kao where is this from? What is this money?" He sat down on the ground and needed a moment. He had never seen so much money in his life and he didn't know what to do with it either. So he waited for Sin to come home.
Kao smiled as he felt the hug behind him as he slowly turned around to face him and nods”yes I’m home and never have to see that house ever again” he was happy to be away from there and be done with that family. He hugs him back then he pulls back and gets the full bag and gives it to Jun”this is for you and Sun taking me in” he gives a big smile as he then moves around checking the place out.
As soon as Kao had gone through the portal, it closed behind him. Out of nowhere, Julien hugged him from behind. "You did it, you're home." He gave the boy a little cuddle before letting go of him. Both were in a huge 2 storey luxeriouse penthouse apartment. A large balcony went around the first floor and ended in a roof terrace with pool. Unfortunately, the rooms were only very sparsely furnished. "Welcome to your new home. Downstairs you'll find the living room and dining room. A room to work out. The kitchen and the pool. And upstairs are the bedrooms and guest room with bath. I honestly have no idea how many rooms are in here. I'm rarely here."
Kao stood there for a few until he started to hear the screams of his foster father. He smiled as he decided it was the best choice not to try and see what was going on and get out of this place but after he grabbed some clothes from his clothes and heads into the portal with the three full bags. He looked around as he was now standing in an apartment and sets the bags down. He was happy to be fully free of that foster house and happy he would never have to go there again.
