Turning Party

No city threw a party like New Orleans. And no one threw a party in New Orleans like the Mikaelsons. The Mikaelson compound was turned from a stoic manor to a lavish and elegant party. In true New Orleans Style, a live band played with the singers dressed as Gothic twists of the Mad Hatter and Alice. Pin up dancers dressed in tight body suits molded to them like second skins danced on pedestals shaped like flowers among fire breathers and contortionists. Soft lighting illuminated along the walls and floor with colorful black lights to enhance the vibrant colors of the performers. Several bartenders dressed in all black mixed drinks while wait staff walked around dressed in red. White and red roses sat in vases and petals were scattered among the carpets. It was beautiful. Elegant. Seductive. A party of the senses.

Tonight was more than just a party. More than a celebration. It was a Message to Heaven. A bold strike. After all, the Angel had refused to listen to reason. And worst of all, the Vaticans treachery only compounded the hurt. So it was decided if the Angel wouldn't accept reason, then justice of their own would be had. And what better justice against an Angel than to break the faith of his believers? Angels, demons, even God's were only as powerful as the faith for those who believed on them. Who had faith in them. And for the Pope, thought by the world to be the most sacred and Holy of humanity, to become a condemned vampire? Well if the holiest of men could lose his soul to Hell, what chance did humanity have? None. So Luralena went to great lengths to make sure this night, this message, was flawless.

She had advised those who would come to dress in their Funeral best. And tonight was no exception to a deadly style only New Orleans could bring! Luralena was not one for fussing over appearances but tonight was an exception. She had her hair styled and pinned back with onyx jeweled clipals to match the onyx and obsidian choker she wore. Her black velvet satin gown hugged every curve and the only hint of color to her ensemble was the deep blue sash that emphasized her hourglass figure. She held her head up high, her shoulders back and spine straight. She knew her brother was kept in the basement for now until everyone settled in and the group was booming, which no doubt would be soon.

Tonight, they all were celebrating so much. Vengeance for Damion Teller. Celebration of Luralenas new life as a Vampire Tribrid. The announcement of her daughter's pregnancy. The Pope's turning. Itbwas a guy and festive evening that no doubt would go on well into the early hours of the next day!

The Moment Damon Felt the weight of his brother off him he swiftly gotten up from The Ground just to Return to his mate's side, while Kol was on the other side of her. Damon Ignored the words his brother said to him about Raven and just glared at him pointing his finger at him with Darkened eyes."YOU! Are Helping the Man behind the attempts Not Only on your mates Life but Mine's Life! Do not Tell me we're causing a war when he pulled the Trigger First!."Damon snapped at his brother holding that Dangerous glint in his eyes. before Darting them towards His mates brother having tunnel vision while he glared at the pope with a Rage Filled Gaze, his eyes blazing with it." I should have just Tore out your heart when it was in the palm of my hand!"Damon spat out Coldly while he let out a Deep anger Filled growl. his impulsive and recklessness urges coming to surface. Damon had half a mind to vamp speed behind him and break his neck, Again.

At this point Damon about had enough of this. His jaw Clenched once more Fighting The urge to Act on what he was Think and he knew that Lura would sense it through their bond. shifting his frame he broke his gaze From the man standing beside Skyler just to shift his gaze to her when he noticed something that caused his eyes to squint slightly when he noticed what she was Doing. he knew the signs of a spell being casted, Seeing how one of his best Friends was a Witch themselves. Then he saw it the portal, the one thing that caused him to glare hard at the man next to her, getting ready to interfere with his escape."You Run, you better Keep on Running. i have Connections in mystic Falls, and I will Find you. when i do i am Going to Kill you."Damon said in that Cold merciless tone of his, laced with a bit of seriousness to it watching him leave caused a sharp growl to rumble from him."God damn it!."Damon spat out before his Darted to his Daughter and just as he was about to move quickly, Damion already had gotten to her before he Could. The Tone his brother had caused Damon To glare at him more. Ignoring his words just to point his finger at him."How about you, you Just Helped The LEADER of the men that Tried Killing you, Her and Lura! escape For Christ sake! and if YOU just let Us Do what we had planned, None of this Would have happened."Damon spat out glaring at him more before he Stepped out of his brothers way, Knowing Full well if he hadn't he would be on the other end of a wolf bite. Like himself, D was Not one to push at this point, when it came to his mate.soon Damon eyed him while he listened to his mate speak to his brother, Damon at this point had Nothing more to say to his brother.

Luralena froze in shock. She felt her heart twist as she caught the lingering scent of her husband in the air. But it was shen Skyler opened the portal that panic gripped her. "NO!" She jumped to try and reach for both Skyler and Alexian but found her hands empty. She let out a growl at Damions tone as she bared her fangs at him. "Mind your tongue in my house, boy!" She snapped at him as she bared her fangs. "Do you have any idea what she's done!?" Luralena snapped as she punched the wall in anger before she looked to Skyler. She felt her fangs prick her tongue even as her heart sank for what her daughter just risked. She clenched her jaw. "Take her to the hospital....have the baby checked..We'll discuss this later."

Sweat broke out on Skylers forehead before her eyes rolled back. The portal snapped closed as Skylers body went limp and she collapsed.

Skyler tensed further when she saw her uncle. The look in Damon's eyes and Kols said it all. There was no way around this. No way this would end well. There was only two ways......either she made herself a hostage or she broke the one rule her mother gave her during this stage in her life. "Daddy....help me...." She silently prayed before she whispered the portal spell, her fingers moving to trace the runes on the wall. She felt the touch of her fathers hand over her own, felt the power of his warmth. Her eyes glowed for a moment as the portal slowly began to open. She couldn't hold it for long, a few seconds at most. Already she felt the strain, her body trembling with the effort to remain standing as she forced the small portal to expand. "Run!"

Kol Had been watching From the Crowd in silence Sipping off his glass of champagne. More importantly he was watching his own family while keeping his distance for the time being since Nik's Little play thing standing there now alone he downed his Drink before clenching his jaw Tightly feeling that itch to finish what he started but Not here. Now wasn't the time. So instead Kol Decided to Go see what the Fuss was about in the tunnels since he could hear everything that was going on with his superior hearing. Not even Thinking He had Used his vampric Speed and Followed his sister. Once Down there he Could smell the blood and that caused his eyes to darken, and provoked his itch. Soon Kol Found himself at his sisters side and once he was he looked down towards the ground seeing Salvatore Pinned to the ground by who he assumed was Blondie."Ironic.."was all he said before he glared over at the pope." Oh Darling, She wanted you Alive. if she hadn't i would have Cracked your skull wide open back in Rome."Kol Reminded him with a sharp glare before he noticed something out of the corner of his eyes, the look his sister had. he knew that look all to well. Kol then turned his gaze to his Niece."What are you doing Darling?."Kol asked her before he eyed the pope upon listening to him caused to narrow his eyes."Darling, Only way your leaving is In a box. I'll be happy to send you back to Rome in..pieces."Kol said in a Cold manner, having the itch to make the move himself and proceed with the turning as planned, seeing how he had that Look in his eyes.

The Moment Damon Felt his mate, followed by her voice his eyes shifted up towards where her voice came From. he also Could see the look she had, the look he knew better then anyone. even he Could smell the blood. But with Damon being pinned down against the Damn Floor helpless by his brother that Still Enraged him. knowing if things turned here he Couldn't get up due to his God damn brothers heavy weight on him."Not yet Love." Damon said upon sensing the appetite she had through the Sire bond, because he wanted to join her, wanted to Sink his own fangs into her brother himself, again. He then Growled at his brothers words turning his head to glare at the wolf even more."Then Get the Fuck off me! wonder what he would think of you! Threatening to bite me!"He spat out back in return, having the urge to kick him off him and risk getting bite. Just like he was on the verge to Becoming the Asshole everyone back in mystic falls labeled him to be."if i was bent on killing, He wouldn't be breathing i would have Killed him already! and Oh but i did! Turn her! and by her Request! No selfishness inovled brother, i am Never Selfish when it comes to her! i am warning you get off me before you lose that spleen!" Damon snapped again out of anger Snarling while his Darkened eyes starred into his brothers golden yellow ones."and Listen to your Mate!."he snapped out loud before he shot a gaze up at his Step Daughter, clenching his jaw at the words she spoke."We let him Go, he will just come back with More people Regardless." he said from the Ground while glaring over at the man next to her, with a Dangerous glint in his eyes before he shot that same glint back to his brother, narrowing his eyes at him.

Skyler cringed as she looked at her Mate. "Damion, enough!" Skyler turned sad eyes to her mother. "Mum, please! There are already Hunters coming to avenge what I have done! You turn him now and they will all come for us." She said as she looked at her mother, begging now. "Please...we let him go, we can turn this around! Think like a Queen and not an animal." She said as she tilted her head slightly, as if listening to something. She looked thoughtful as she looked to her mother. "When Uncle Nik wanted to slaughter everyone just to reclaim New Orleans, what did Dad say? True Kingdoms are gained by loyalty, diplomacy and nobility, right?" She pleaded as she kept her gaze on her mother. "Sometimes the greatest strength a Ruler can show.....is mercy.'

Luralena let out a growl as she looked to Ivy. "Stay here with the guests, love. You'll be safe." She reassured the girl before she ran to follow her Mate. A knot of panic seized her stomach as she thought of Skyler being near the Pope and his wicked tongue. Luralena knew her brother loved her, but like her, he was also trained from birth to be calculating, cunning and manipulative. Whatever it took to get the job done or escape alive. There was a reason Skyler was kept away from the Vatican and protected from the truth. It was a den of snakes with only one goal in mind.....Kill the Sinners and the Damned. Protect the Faith. Nothing else mattered. And while she wanted to hope her brother wasn't a Puppet, she was not a betting person. Their powers over magic and telekinesis were the same. They were the last of the VanHelsings, renowned for their powers. No telling what he could do. Luralena couldn't take the chance. Not when it came to her only pup. So she used her newfound speed to get downstairs and froze when she saw Damions fangs and Damon pinned. But what made her stiffen was Skyler being so close to Alexian. "Skyler!!" Lura snapped as she narrowed her eyes, smelling his blood and felt her stomach cramp with the appetite to drain him dry. "Get away from him."

The Feeling of his brothers paws holding him down while they dug into his chest caused Damon To glare at his brother even more before he Released Another Growl the Moment he heard his threat. he knew if D bite him, sank his canines into him. it would Just Turn into a even bigger problem. Damon having the toxin of a bite in a crowded place would end badly, very badly."I said Get the Fuck off me, Brother! and if you bite me. you and everyone else will be Dealing with a even bigger issue! Now get off of me! I will Not repeat myself again! and her Mother wants her!"Damon snapped before his Darkened Gaze Shifted in the direction of his step daughters voice, another Growl left from him as he spoke and knew she'd hear him."Better Come and get My brother off of me! before he Looses a Spleen!."Damon Said Loud enough For his voice to echo, which was Enraged and Full of anger. Those that knew Damon knew he was a Man of his word and when he made Threats he would deliver on them and with his Reputation and track record, he would without hesitation, Espically since he was Enraged. Damon Continued to glare at his brother."And if he bites me, Everyone will have an Even bigger problem!"he then added, laying there under the weight of his brother, Pinning him against the stone Floor at the mouth of the of the tunnel.

Skyler grit her teeth as she started walking with him. She smirked a bit at the mention of her husband. "Yeah, probably.....we gotta move fast." She said as she led the way from the room. She looked around, trying to gauge the best escape route. "Help me, daddy....." She prayed softly before she saw a shimmer of light. like the thread of a ribbon down one hall. She smiled slightly as she moved to follow it. She could hear Damions growls grow louder and Damon's arguing more angry in nature. "Stop it! All of you! Turning him will be no different than when uncle Nik would dagger uncle Kol or my father and seal them in a box for years! This won't solve anything!"

It sure didn't take Damon Long to reach the Tunnels that Connected where the Pope was being held. Upon Entering the Tunnels he Could hear more then One heart beat Followed by his step daughters voice with his superior hearing. Damon Knew that he Could easily use his vampric Speed to get there but he choose Not to. Damon Could still feel that anger in him, it even showed on his face and in his eyes. His brother had down Right made him angry. Before Damon Could even Take another Step he was Knocked on the Ground and Then in a matter of seconds he was looking into a pair of Golden yellow eyes and ones that caused him to Growl Out Loud, his growl echoing and bouncing off the walls as he Snarled himself."Get The Fuck off me, Brother! before i remove you Myself! You are Only stalling the Enable! Stalling me won't stop this from proceeding!"Damon snapped at his brothers wolf, glaring at him from the ground with his Darkened eyes before he narrowed his hues. Damon wasn't Stupid to Move, he has been on the other end of a bite from a wolf and the bites toxins. He also knew that his brother was just being protective but he should Know better by now that Damon would never harm Sky or The Pup. he was just simply going to go get her to bring her to her mother and if Damon had to Force his brother off him and Risk Getting bite, So be it."I won't ask again, brother."Damon said with a deeper solid Glare.

When Damon heard that name being brought up, the Mere mention of Jake caused Damon to just glare at his brother. Due to the fact he still held a grudge but that was Not the issue here. narrowing his gaze at his brother once more Damon shifted his Frame to where he was Starring his brother in the eyes after he Decided to Square up with him."As i said before, Lura knows what she is doing! her brother, This Pope will get Turned. even if i have to Do it myself! The Angels Faith is only strong as the will of someone holding a Connection to God! Now get out of my face!, and Its Not like you to let Something like this Go!, Especially when he's the head of those that Tried Killing you, Lura, and Skyler!"Damon snapped with a Growl of his own before he Took a step back to put distance between his brother and himself."Nothing will happen to our sister if The bastards are weakened."he said with another snapping tone before he shifted his gaze the Moment he saw their other sister ivy, listening to her and D caused him to Clench his jaw hard, Knowing Klaus was most likely not far behind her.

The Feeling of his mates Gaze caused Damon to pull his darkened eyes away from his sister and brother just to look down at his mate when she said for him to Find Skyler. Not even Hesitating Damon pushed past his brother just to stop the moment he heard him and felt his angered Gaze, unphased by it he turned his head just to look at him and when he did he held the same Expression he had before, that clenched jaw and darkened eyes."The last time i checked i didn't need anyone's permission to Sire My Mate. When she wanted it,and asked me to."Damon answered him with a Glare. Unphased by how his mate held his brother, his tone towards his mate caused Damon to glare even harder at him before he narrowed his eyes."Don't make me Summon OUR Sire and I told you not to speak to her like that!, before things Get Ugly, Ivy watch our brother. if you need to, Get Klaus."Damon snapped before Clenching his Jaw while walking off into the other direction, Disappearing within the Crowd to proceed with Finding his Step-daughter, having the slightest Idea where she Could be, Damon also knew that his Mate and sister could handle D.

Luralena let out a low growl as she looked to Damon. "Find Skyler." She said sharply before she looked to Damion. "Angel's like God's are only as strong as the faith of their followers. We do this, that breaks the faith of thousands!" She said as she looked to Ivy and smiled a little. "I'm glad you came." Luralena shook her head a bit. "These angels started this War when they came after you for a petty fucking reason! The Vatican started this war when they tried to kill us both! Need I remind you they threatened to kill your wife? You want to just let that go!?" Luralena snapped as she grabbed Damion by his shirt front, her new fangs bared as her eyes turned black.....the sign of her newly embraced vampire traits. "He deserves to suffer for what he did....and so do the Angels."

Skyler froze completely when she heard him. She stood infront of him, one hand moving to grab his jaw so her gaze could find his own. "Look at me." She demanded as her eyes narrowed as she searched his own, the wolf in her blood finally catching the scent. "Fucking Hell. No wonder you didn't fight me in Rome. You're family...." She said quietly in shock. Now it made even more sense why her mother wanted this so badly.
