Once a simple human man, the creature now called Revan was born without the abilities that now drive him and in a far simpler place than the grand Kingdom in which he now lives. Spending most of his youth in a small town Revan grew up with a simple, yet happy life. This changed when a Demon drifter came through his town and murdered his mother and father during a robbery gone wrong. Moving to an orphanage Revan was often mocked for the stories of demons he told and yet someone took note of his growing hatred and his growing abilities to fight as he battled those that mocked his beliefs. An attendant who in truth was an agent hunting a demon within the orphanage in human form kept a close eye on young Revan which later proved to be a wise move as he eventually aided the agent in the capture of the demon. Adopting him the agent brought him into a training camp that developed specialist to hunt and kill demons that posed a threat to the rest of the world, something Revan proved to be very good at. After twelve years Revan became known as one of the best, something that attracted notoriety in the demon world. Eventually a group of some of the criminal underworlds most powerful demons decided to make an example of him using some of the most ancient spells and curses they could find. The plan upon his capture was to tattoo demonic symbols into his body with their own blood mixed into the ink allowing them to control him, using him to kill the other agents and eventually feed of his life force. But such ancient forces have a life of there own and did not appreciate being used. Instead the curses turned on those casting and invoking them. Revan found that the tattoos came to life at his command giving him a bizarre mixture of abilities taken from the demons that had captured him. Leaving the agency he had grown in Revan needed to find a new home. And after years of searching he found that among demons themselves. Demons that took him in when others wouldn′t and showed him that even demons could show compassion.
