Selena's Backstory & Current Day Mission

Selena was born during a black moon phase at Gotham City Hospital. Her parents, James Gordon Jr. & Lilly Faye Nyx - Gordon; fell madly in love after Badman saved them from the hands of Poison Ivy who had tried to kill them for destroying her Botanical Garden filled with countless toxic plants. Several months later the two got engaged after Lilly became pregnant with Selena Isabella Nyx, who took her last name from her mother's maiden name. For years Selena grew up in a happy home. Never once being made to suffer the horrors that Gotham City had to offer.

That was until she met The Joker at the age of eighteen. Joker had heard of the commissioner's granddaughter and found it all too amusing how she viewed the world around her to be filled with just and honest people. To prove a point, he made it his sole mission to prove her wrong starting with the murder of her parents. On the night of her eighteenth birthday, both Selena and her parents were kidnapped. Forced to watch as Joker brutally rapped and tortured her mother while he then proceeded to savagely beat her father to death with a sledgehammer, Joker then turned to Selena laughing hysterically while finding sheer amusement in her innocence and her suffering.

Leaving her to die as he set their family home a blaze, Joker didn't care weather or not if she lived or died. Sure he knew the odds of her coming after him were greater if she lived, but that was the whole point.... at least in his eyes anyway. Three years later at the age of twenty one, Selena joined the police force special task force unit with high honors. She was also the very first woman to graduate with such high honors; that they gave her the position to become her teams top leader in the special task force unit. However, no matter how many missions she went on to try and stop The Joker, it seemed he was always out of her reach. 

So, after two long years of searching and failing to kill The Joker, Selena quit her job at task force, going rogue as she opted to become a serial killer or assassin instead. Taking as many contract hits as she possibly could, Selena killed with the best of them. She trained her whole life for the day when she'd finally meet and kill the Joker for the last and final time. For two years she tracked his every move, hunted him like the cold blooded animal he was to her. Still, it seemed she could never get close enough to him to try and kill him for the murder of her parents. One night while driving home from her grandfather's house, Selena got a call from her best friend Vanity who had a lead on where the Joker was.

After searching the main area, she figured it best to set up a meeting with him via his Joker card. Not long after setting a place and time in which the two would meet face to face, Selena took all of her combat skills and weapons with her in the hopes of ending Joker's life once and for all. After waiting for nearly a hour or so for him to arrive, Selena began to doubt that he would even show up. That was until the sound of a huge explosion went off sending flames all around them that not even the fire department could put out fast enough. Seeing him step out from beyond the flames he looked like the devil himself! with a mincing glare he greeted her only to stop just a few feet away from her. He claimed he didn't remember killing her parents, but they both knew this was nothing more than a bold face lie.

He remembered all of his victims faces, especially her parents. Unable to contain her rage any longer, Selena strikes Joker before he could do anything to counter her attacks. Left bleeding from multiple wounds, she thought she'd had him. Unaware his blood was fully immune to any and all kinds of deadly poisons. Letting her guard down as she got a bit too close to him, Selena was met with a sharp pain surging all throughout her body now. Turns out that when she wasn't looking Joker had in fact injected her with his own DNA. This not only caused her body to become fully paralyzed, but it also merged with that of her own DNA over time. 

Left with no way to defend herself, Selena was then brutally raped and beaten with a crowbar till most of her bones were left bloody and broken. To make matters worse, Joker rapped Selena with the intention of getting her pregnant. Will she live to see another day? What will she become as a result of Joker's DNA merging with her own? In the end... only time will tell. -To Be Continued...-
